I have been a registered nurse for 36 years with the last 33 years spent in clinical research. I have been blessed to work with highly accomplished physicians, an amazing research team and volunteers that are second to none. I am so grateful that our research team has had the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting therapeutic advances and have been witness to dramatic, life changing moments.
Outside of my research interests I really enjoy outdoor activities: biking, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and boating. I also enjoy traveling and reading. My husband and I have four children, two son-in-law’s and three grandchildren that we spend our outdoor time with and as much time together as we possibly can.
A fun fact: I drive without the radio on.

Hello, my name is BriAnne, RN, BSN. I studied Nursing at Midland University in Fremont, NE. I am currently a lead study coordinator here at Physicians Research Collaboration.
Being a lead study coordinator has been a very rewarding experience for me, and I also always strive to make it the same for my patients. Seeing the progress patients make from day 1 to the end has been so exciting to see! It makes me so happy to see them being able to be themselves again and getting back to what they were doing before their diagnoses with these diseases. At the end of the day, I know that I have made a huge impact on each of my patients’ lives and will continue to do so to make a brighter and more pleasant life for each individual that comes my way!
I was born and raised in the small town of Tobias, NE, and currently live on an acreage south of Firth with my two kiddos and husband. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the kids’ sporting events, and just living each day to its fullest with the ones I love because tomorrow is never promised!!

My name is Jessica, CMA. I currently work as a research coordinator assistant and have been in research now for the last 5 months. I have learned a lot working in this department and am really excited to continue to learn more. I previously worked as a certified medical assistant with the Arthritis Center for 15 years with direct contact with the patients. It was satisfying to know and see how our patients would improve and to get to know them on a personal level. I decided to move to research to advance my career and expand my knowledge.
I was born and raised in central Nebraska and grew up with 5 siblings. I moved to Lincoln to attend college, where I met my husband of 14 years now. We live on a acreage west of Lincoln with our 2 children. I love spending time with my family and friends, going camping and spending time outdoors in favorable weather!
I am excited to continue to expand my knowledge in research and to help others improve in their health.

Hi my name is Aleece Reetz, BSN, MA. I went to University of Nebraska and then went on to get my nursing degree from Clarkson College in Omaha. I am currently a lead study coordinator here at Physician Research Collaboration. I have worked in research for 10 years.
I have been a lead research study coordinator in pediatric and rheumatology research for 8 years and have participated in more than 90 clinical trials. As a lead study coordinator I work directly with patients by conducting visits on site and keeping in contact via phone between visits. I make it a priority to address all questions and concerns throughout participation of a research trial by being in close contact with the company conducting the trial and the physician to make sure that we are always providing the best and safest care. It is always my goal to make sure research patients’ experience is a positive one.
My love for research continues to grow as more and more patients are able to experience the many benefits from the therapies that are provided, and the excitement for what the future holds in this everchanging world of research.
I was born and raised on a farm outside of Crete, NE and currently live on a farm outside of Kramer, NE with my husband, our 3 children, and our yellow lab. Outside of work I stay very busy running our young children around to and from activities, spending time with both of our large families, traveling to new places, and helping my husband on our farm.

Hi, my name is Leah, LPN. I obtained my nursing license from Southeast Community College. I am a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator with Physician Research Collaboration.
I started my career in the medical field in the United States Air Force as an EMT/ Medical Technician. I worked for four years in Labor and Delivery and the rest of my enlistment in a specialty clinic. After five years of active duty, I missed home so I moved back to Nebraska. After returning home I started nursing school and went in Pediatrics right away. From there I was given an opportunity to start Pediatric Research and have not looked back since. I completed multiple vaccine, dermatology, device, blood, drug, and formula studies. I decided early in 2021 that I was ready to expand my research opportunities and transitioned to Physician Research Collaboration with so many possibilities and unique studies. I have been in research now for about five years overall with hopes to continue for years to come.
I am very passionate about research, without it we would not have the advances and possibilities we do in healthcare. I also enjoy my patients and getting to know them and thank them for helping future generations to come. Without research patients, we would not have the technology we do, the medicines, or the opportunities to make lives better.
I was raised in Grand Island and Lincoln, Nebraska. I enlisted in the Air Force after high school and was active duty, stationed in Texas, Mississippi, and Ohio. I moved back to Lincoln after the military. I have two daughters who definitely keep me busy. I love sports; I am a huge Cornhusker fan! I also love the outdoors and learning about United States History.

I started at Physician Research Collaboration in October of 2016, and count my blessings daily to be part of the wonderful team here at Physician Research Collaboration.
Outside of my career in research, I am a mother of two beautiful daughters aged 4 & 5 years old. I enjoy many hobbies such as crafting, sewing, gardening, reading, painting, and most of all watching my girls grow and learn. I have a third “daughter” Harley Quin.
